Dutch-Polish Business Forum in The Hague 2019

Oliver von Borstel, President of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in The Netherlands and Bob Juchter van Bergen Quast, its Vice President, have attended the Dutch-Polish Business Forum in The Hague on 3 April 2019, organised by the Dutch and Polish governments and the Dutch-Polish Chambers of Commerce. The SCCN was able to select several Polish companies, that are in their growth phase, and are eligible to be introduced to international, professional investors in the network of the SCCN.

About the Dutch-Polish Business Forum

The Polish-Dutch Business Forum in The Netherlands, brought together more than 200 Dutch and Polish top level executives. The Foru⁠m offered a pre-eminent platform for influencing and networking with leaders in business and politics. The speakers, included Mrs. Sigrid Kaag, Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of The Netherlands and Mrs. Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology of Poland.

Forum 2019

Organised under the overall theme ‘Greening the growth through innovation’, the Forum has addressed challenges on this topic for both Dutch and Polish entrepreneurs. Stakeholders have gathered to brainstorm on the topics such as e-mobility, smart solutions in the life science sector and start-up hubs and innovation alliances. The 2019 Forum consisted over 10 events including keynote speeches of the Ministers of both countries, private sector-led sessions, a high-profile stakeholder round table, networking events, and the award ceremony for the Dutch Polish Business Award.
