The European Chamber of Digital Commerce was invited to The Hague Summit for Accountability in the Digital Age, held November 6-7, 2019, focused upon safeguarding the role of the internet as a tool for personal, professional, and social engagement.
Topics included Accountability and Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Cyber Peace. Invited were top industry executives, heads of State, and technology thought leaders.
The Summit was held at The Peace Palace, an international law administrative building in The Hague, the Netherlands. It houses the International Court of Justice (which is the principal judicial body of the United Nations), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), The Hague Academy of International Law and the Peace Palace Library.
